Miscellaneous

  • Is the Rush-Henrietta Soccer Club a Town of Henrietta-run program?

No, the Rush-Henrietta Soccer Club is not funded or run through the Town of Henrietta. The Club is able to use facilities at Martin Road Park during the outdoor season (May-October) courtesy of the Town. All expenses of the Rush-Henrietta Soccer Club are funded from player dues, fundraising and sponsorships. These expenses include: Outdoor goals/nets at Martin Road Park, Field maintenance materials (Field paint), Indoor field space, League dues, Referee fees, Coaching Education, Coaching equipment, etc.

  • There are so many programs in the area. What are the differences between the soccer programs in Henrietta?

Within our Rush-Henrietta Soccer Club, we have two sides: Recreation and Travel.

Recreation involves players 5-17 (U6-U17) years old and is focused on fun and learning in what is typically an introduction to team competition. This program tends to require two days of commitment during the summer months, with no indoor training.

Travel involves players born in 2008-2018 (U9-U18) and is focused on an increase in competition and skill development. This program is an increased commitment from Recreation without the price tag of an Academy or Premier team.

Unaffiliated with our Club, the Town of Henrietta hosts soccer programs such as Start Smart Soccer, Indoor Soccer and others. These programs are tailored toward beginners to the sport and may include parent involvement.

Similar to the Town, other organizations also host beginner/introduction programs.
