E-License

E-license is designed as an entry-level course for coaches of 11/side soccer to provide general instruction to coaching and organizing your team. This course also introduces the methodology of coaching and the four components of coaching soccer: Technique, Tactics, Fitness and Psychology. Field sessions concentrate on developing technique within small-sided games that also present problems for players to solve within the game.  

The club will reimburse 1/2 of the cost for House coaches and assistant coaches who agree to coach this season. Reimbursement will be provided at the mid-April coaches meeting.  We strongly recommend E-license certification for coaches U-12 and older as well as as all travel coaches. 

If you are interested in attending an E-license class this year, you may attend one in any town.  The schedule is posted on the NY State West web site.
