Coaching Information
Key messages from the coaches meeting
1. Do not allow children that were not assigned to your roster on the
field. You are legally liable for any injury that may occur and as a
representative of the club, the club is also liable. Unregistered
players are not insured and therefore are prohibited from participating
in any game or practice.
2. Remind parents that it is their responsibility to have a
responsible adult present when their child is at the field.
3. We provided a sheet to check the spelling of player's names this
year. Please fill it out at your first practice & return it to your age
group coordinator. If a player's name is misspelled, the name on the
trophy will be wrong. When this happens, the children don't get their
trophies on time, it creates more work for you and the club and it gets
significantly more expensive to build the corrections.
4. Please don't ask to change which field you are assigned to. We do
our best to put everyone at their home field. If you're not at yours, we
apologize, but it is because it was someone else's home field too. We
also are addressing a major parent request that if a player cannot play
at their home school, they have some other players from their school as
well. The result is that many teams are mixed from two schools. We
appreciate your understanding.
5. Please get parent permission before you share their contact
information (name, phone number, address, email) with other parents.
6. Check out the Season Info section of the web. Know what format
your age bracket is playing. Know the rules for your age bracket. Know
basic information about the season.
7. If both the head coach and the assistant coach are unable to
attend on a given night, you must reschedule or cancel. There must be a
club representative representing each team at every practice or game.
Where to send parents when they need information
1. If you can't answer the question directly, please always send
people to the website first
2. If they can't find the answer on the web, they can send us an
email through the website
3. If they can't get to the web, we do have a phone hotline 234-0245
(least preferred)
Thanks again for all that you do for the children!
