Team Formation

Of all the functions within the club, none is more controversial than team formation.  Every year, there are countless requests for exceptions for team formation whether it's to play with a friend, to play in an older age bracket, to help with carpooling, etc.

We have tried in the past to accommodate many of these requests.  However, with each granted exception, we create new problems.  We also further complicate and elongate the very difficult work of team creation. 

We will no longer accept requests for team placement for carpooling, friends, or age (i.e. playing up).

Teams will be formed with the following considerations:

1. Completely random
2. Coach and Assistant Coaching tandom
3. By skill level
4. By registration order

The Board has decided that placement of players will be completely random.  We understand that this will not please parents who requested their child to be on a certain team or to have a friend on their team. This year children in the same age division will be playing on the same set of fields.

U6 level games will be played at Winslow Elementary School

(Whenever possible, we will place the child of a sponsor on the sponsor’s team.)
