Children born on or before May 1, 2006 are eligible to play in the 2011 season. All children will play in their appropriate age group based on birth date; these age groups are defined per the US Soccer Guidelines.  There will be no exceptions.  Playing-up can increase the risk of injury for the player.  If your child is a gifted athlete that requires a greater challenge, please consider the Select or Travel programs.  

All registration forms must come with a copy of a birth certificate for each child.  During open registration, it is acceptable to bring the original birth certification for validation by the registrar. We do not keep a copy of the birth certificate. We expect to validate the birth date each year at registration, so please be prepared to show the certificate.

U6 and U8 brackets will be formed as usual.  Older brackets will be determined based on registration, with every attempt made to keep the spread of ages reasonable and the number of kids on a team such that everyone gets a fair amount of playing time.

Brackets

Age brackets are based strictly on the child's birthday. Each year, age brackets are determined by the number of registrants at each age. The chart below describes the birth dates appropriate for each bracket, and is not a declaration of the brackets we will be using this season.
