What’s New?
I am excited to announce that The Falcons Travel Soccer Club is implementing some new, monthly fundraising opportunities starting in October (and it’s really simple for you to support the club). Join us for our monthly fundraising events at various Henrietta restaurants so all you need to do is go eat, tell your friends and enjoy! You’ll be supporting local businesses, won’t have to cook and the club receives a portion of sales that night. It’s a win, win, win, situation!
Why do we schedule these events? What does the money raised go towards?
The Falcons want to ensure all players have the ability to play and should not be held back due to financial circumstances. To help combat this hurdle, we offer scholarship opportunities for those families who need financial assistance in-order to play. There is a scholarship form that is on our website that must be submitted to apply for the scholarship. In the past we have done fundraising at Blaze and Yolickity to raise money toward the scholarship fund and many players have benefitted from this opportunity. The more we support these local businesses, the more kids we can support to play the game they love.
How can I find out where to go?
Emails will be sent out prior to the events, please pay close attention to the details on what needs to be done for your purchase to count towards the club’s fundraiser. Most restaurants are both dine in and/or carry out. We understand that not everyone is comfortable dining in; ordering online for pick up is a great alternative that still allows you to participate.
We will also be advertising these on social media and the Falcons website as a reminder. If you have any ideas on restaurants that you and your family enjoy ordering from, please let me know. I want to make this as successful and inclusive as possible. We are open to any and all suggestions.
Thank you,
Shiloh Arthmann
